January 03 New YearI didn't realize it when the new year hit me in the face, that this space hasn't been updated for months!
In the past year, I did something wrong but I never ever regret. During the first half year, I took an intership and finally realized my teacher dream. After fierce struggle I at last got enough credits to graduate from college. Thank God! Thank everybody who helped! In the second half year I was like a brand new fresh fish in this school, in spite that this is excatly where I graduated.
Now that the new year has arrived, the only thing I ought to do is to look onward and forward. Year 2007 is vital to me. And after the lunar new year, it would be my year, the year of big. Here I wish every friend a happy new year and be happy, healthy, having all wishes fulfilled in the new year!
September 18 New SchoolMy dear friends, long time no see~ Haven't been updated for such a long time that this space gets close to be deserted.
I arrived in Nanjing on 7th, moved in new dorm and became the first moving in, which made me choose doss freely. Mine is at the window so that one morning when I opened my eyes I saw white clouds sauntering against the blue sky. At that precise moment I fell in love with my new dorm. In the upper berth upon me stays Liu Rong, who is from Shandong, majored in intellectual history. Besides my berth inhibits Lu Lu, from Xi'an, who is determined to study ancient Chinese characters. The lower berth opposite mine is occupied by Wang Qing, also from Shandong, and the upper berth Li Wei, from Gansu. They two share one mentor and are also in the same discipline as me. We had a wonderful time the day before yesterday. We went for karaoke for a whole afternoon. I think I like the people in my dorm.
And since that afternoon started my part time job. Although most of the administration moved to the new building, my office has remained in the old building adjacent to the new one through a yard. Yet still they've got the old building redecorated and my office moved from the second floor to the third floor. Except for a set of sofa, no more new furniture. The desktop is far out of time, breaking down time and time again... poor me! Whatever, it's still lucky to have an office instead of studying in the dim dirty crowded classrooms!
New school live start! Set off to experience a brandy different school life! I've made up my mind! July 23 photo showJune is graduation month. I went to South Anhui as class graduation trip and to Qingdao as private graduation trip. And the most important moment is when I received my first degree. All three events could be best shown above.

Thank you! April 01 For memoryJust watched TV before I realize today is April 1st. It has been three years. How time flies!
I remember one night I was taking a walk on the Star Avenue with a friend, when I told him about Leslie Cheung and his dramatic death. He asked me if I liked him because of his death. I was so shocked that couldn't say anything. Till now, I don't have the answer...
It's easy to follow my feeling but hard to trace a reason. Maybe not everything on earth does have a reason.
Listening to Leslie's songs playing on TV, thinking about all stuff I came across in the past month, suddenly, I realize my 'old good days' has gone for ever. March 22 AlohaI didn't expect my internship to end so soon. Everything seems to be getting on track so far. I like these kids, no matter what I was told by other teachers about them, such as the four classes I teach now are the worst in that grade, I only see that they repect others, have their own ideas about life( maybe more serious than some so-called 'adults').
The night before, one boy came to my office, presenting me a card made by himself with one self-composed song on it. I was deeply moved and shocked by his telent! Later he invited me to his guitar practice. Honestly, he played much better than you, Vivian~It was an empty classroom which was used to be a practice room by music lovers. Only a couple of them were there. Lights were turned to dull, breeze was blowing in, puffing the curtain into waving. At that moment, I really hoped time could have been frozen, then I didn't have had to take any trouble desturbing my life.
However, time couldn't be stilled, trouble couldn't be avoided. I have to go, however reluctant I feel. B.T. school (suddenly realize the abbrevation is so weird) is a place where I get my peace energy back, from where I set out to a more competitive and exciting life. Wish both the school and the kids there safe and sound in the way to their destinations. February 19 first day on workyesterday was my first day on work. I had the most exciting day ever.
when i woke up in the morning, i found everything white outside. it was snowing heavily. maybe it's the heaviest snow in rescent years. it lasted till mid-morning. it was a shame that it melted soon after it stopped. my tutor was also spirited up by the snow. in the afternoon, after he had finished his class, he took me with vise principle into the mountains. we visited two old grandmas and gave them two bags of apples we brought. then we followed a footpath up the mountain. on our way, we went through bamboo and shrub, we jumped and stooped. on the sharp way up the top of the mountain i got spurred by the spike of rosebush. finally we got on top, breathlessly, finding two farmers digging the ground. they were residents at the foot of the hill. we walked along the back of the mountain up to a temple. unluckily, it was locked and only snow on roof and dogs were left there. after a short break we started to climb down.
well, it was a great day in any way. hope it will also be of fun in the future days. |
